Returning in 2018

I realize that I haven't been active since February of last year. I really did try to come back this past summer, but just couldn't. Like most other people, 2017 really hasn't been my year. Confession? I only read 11 books this year and the last one I read was in July. That is far from the 75 I set out with at the first of the year. And I didn't even finish an audiobook for the challenge I was doing.

What is different about 2018? Well, me for starters. Though I will not be setting my goals very high this year, maybe 40 books. And I will still try to review at least once a week, but I am not going to put too much pressure on myself to do that. A big part of this year was my anxiety and learning to deal with it.

Moving forward I will still do reviews, but it might be on other literary things. Like TV shows based on books or comparisons if I have read that books. (Look for a Runaways comparison in January). I will be reviewing more graphic novels, because yes, they are reading. Just because they have pictures doesn't make it any less of a book, okay? They tell a story.

I will still be doing memes, such as Top Ten Tuesdays and Waiting on Wednesdays. I would like to get back to posting almost everyday, but we will see how that goes. I will not be posting any reviews until after the new year, because the next few weeks are hectic with the holiday. Though I might be posting challenges and reath-a-thons I plan on participating in 2018.
